Beginning in April 2025, the city is launching a comprehensive redevelopment project to create the Convention Center of tomorrow. The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is consistently voted as one of the top airports in the United States and one of the fastest growing in the country. Located just 7.5 miles or a quick 15-minute drive from downtown Austin, the airport services 75+ nonstop domestic and international destinations (including London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Panama City, Mexico City, Calgary, Montréal, Vancouver and Toronto), with roughly 200+ daily flights. The airport is currently undergoing a major expansion project with the first phase to be completed in 2026, adding 84,500 square feet, three additional gates and even more amenities for travelers to enjoy.
